See Through NY

It's essentially unusable at present, because they didn't anticipate the traffic they've seen, but if they ever get the bugs out, this site will be brilliant. Want to see how your teachers' contract compares with that in Tioga County? Want to compare judges' salaries? It will all be there.

Every once in a while, E.J. McMahon and the Manhattan Institute do something more useful for the world than complain.

I understand why people are upset, but this is a key part of understanding the cost of government. Especially in an age where we expect politicians to share their tax returns, this seems like something that government, not a think tank, should have been doing a long time ago.
