Jon Stewart asked his guest about this last night (National Review editor?), and the guy replied that the VP is too big a job (see Cheney, Gore) nowadays for someone like Huckabee. Implying, I guess, that he wasn't up to it or didn't have the appropriate skills. He gave no specifics, though. D
I think the Veep job is what you make it. Look at VPs we've had through the ages--Spiro Agnew? Dan Quayle? or on the other side--Alben Barkley? I have no doubt that Huckabee would fall right in line with those fine examples.

Even the thought depresses the hell out of me. But I think I agree with Anonymous 1, too. We shall see...
